I mwbwSerdi furono una tribù mwcacelticacite-ref-1[1] che abitò la mwdqTracia. Si stanziarono attorno a mwdgSerdika (mwdwgreco: Σαρδική o Σαρδῶν πόλις),cite-ref-2[2] che ne riflette l'mwfaetnonimo.

Potrebbero essersi stabiliti in quest'area durante le migrazioni celtiche avvenute alla fine del IV secolo a.C., anche se non ci sono prove della loro esistenza prima del I secolo a.C. Quello dei Serdi è uno dei tradizionali nomi di tribù citati in epoca romana.cite-ref-3[3] Furono gradatamente assorbiti dai mwggTraci nel corso dei secoli, ma mantennero la loro cultura celtica per molto tempo.

Sappiamo da mwhaCassio Dione Cocceiano che mwhqMarco Licinio Crasso (console del mwhg30 a.C.) compì imprese militari lungo il basso corso del mwhwDanubio negli anni mwia29 e mwiq28 a.C., nel corso delle quali batté numerosi popoli tra cui mwigGeti, mwiwDaci, mwjaBastarni, mwjqMesi, mwjgTriballi, mwjwDardani e mwkaTraci (tra cui mwkqMaedi, mwkgSerdi e mwkwBessi).cite-ref-4[4]
